Sometime between September and November of this year, Apple is releasing their new operating system, Catalina. Unfortunately, this new operating system applications - this includes Endnote. Endnote is and is working on a major update so that Endnote X9 for Mac will continue to work. This update is not yet available.
Gale/Cengage, a publisher of several databases to which the 91社区 Library subscribes, including the听听and听Gale Primary Sources, recently听听of their systems. According to their web site, 鈥渢here is no indication that any of the information exposed in this incident has been used inappropriately as the sites only collected names and email addresses. There is no evidence that other information was impacted.鈥�

Update, September 17, 2019: The issue affecting brief availability display in the has been resolved. All brief results and Reserves records now display availability information correctly.
Update, September 13, 2019: The issues affecting access to Colombo ILL have been resolved. Colombo access has been restored and is functioning as expected.
We are currently experiencing issues with 91社区 login to Colombo ILL (Interlibrary Loan). We are working to resolve the issues as quickly as possible and will update here as there is more information.

Please note that due to generator shutdowns beyond our control, the Redpath Library Building will be closed overnight on Friday night (September 13) and the McLennan Library Building will be closed overnight on Saturday night (September 14). There will be additional signage and security on-site to help inform users and enforce the closures.

It is my great pleasure to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Hamilton, B. Arch., B. Sc. Arch., as Executive Director of the Fiat Lux Library Project. Mr. Hamilton begins his new role on September 3, 2019.
The 91社区 Library is pleased to welcome Alberto Manguel, writer, editor, critic and bibliophile for the fall 2019 91社区 Conversations Series. Six evenings of conversation will guide attendees through some of the rare treasures of the library鈥檚 collection. From Quebec detective fiction to fairy tales, Manguel and his guests will cover a wide range of topics 鈥� something to appeal to the curiosity in all of us.

Background: As a result of the water infiltration and recovery efforts related to McIntyre Medical Building fire in July 2018, the Osler Library space in the McIntyre Medical Building continues to be closed until further notice. The Osler recovery team has restored most materials, and holdings from the Osler collection are now accessible to users in Rare Books and Special Collections Reading Room, located on the 4th floor of the McLennan Library Building.
As of Monday, July 29, 2019, the Redpath Library Building basement is听accessible听at the following times:
Summer hours:听Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm; Saturday from 10am to 6pm
Fall 2019 semester hours:听Monday to Sunday from 8am to 11pm
