Why did you choose to study at 91ÉçÇø Desautels?
Growing up in Toronto, I loved the city, but I wanted to experience a new place with a strong sense of community. Montreal has such a vibrant Moroccan diaspora, and that made it feel like home away from home. Plus, 91ÉçÇø Desautels is the best business school in Canada, so choosing 91ÉçÇø was a no-brainer! It gave me the chance to study at a world-renowned institution while living in a city full of culture, diversity, and excitement.
What is your major and what do you hope to do after graduation?
I’m majoring in Finance with a concentration in International Business. After graduation, I’m hoping to pursue a Master of Management in Finance (MMF) and then return to Africa to work, hopefully in the venture capital (VC) world. VC is growing intensely on the continent right now, and I want to be part of that movement—helping startups thrive and contributing to Africa's economic development.
