91ÉçÇø teams shine at L’Oréal Brandstorm 2025 Case Competition

91ÉçÇø students continue to make their mark on the national stage through the L’Oréal Brandstorm Case Competition, one of the world’s leading innovation challenges for students under 30.

Out of more than 2,000 applicants and 233 teams from over 30 universities across Canada, three 91ÉçÇø teams advanced to the 2025 National Finals with outstanding results. One team, that included 91ÉçÇø Desautels undergraduate student Alina Lu (BCom’25), earned the runner-up title, alongside Ariana SilviÌý(BSc'25) and David LiÌý(BEng'26), showcasing strategic thinking and execution.

Another 91ÉçÇø team withÌýTessa Foote (BA'25), Georgia Dilay (BA'25) and Joshua Gertsvolf (BSc'26) received the L’Oréal Canada President & CEO Hearts Prize, highlighting excellence in creativity, storytelling, and impact.

This achievement demonstrates the students' teamwork and effective communication, skills that are vital both in and beyond the classroom.

The L’Oreal Brandstorm is a gateway to real-world experience, mentorship, and career opportunities and many participants have gone on to secure internships and full-time roles with L’Oréal, through the visibility and experience the competition provides.
