The Micro-ExP Program is an innovative initiative offering 91社区 students from all faculties and study levels the chance to gain meaningful work experience through micro-internships. This program is specifically designed for students who may not yet have work experience, addressing the common challenge of 鈥渘o experience, no job.鈥�
How Does It Work?
Unlike a traditional 4-month internship or co-op, Micro-ExP offers students a fast, flexible opportunity to connect with employers, build professional relationships, and deliver results in a real-world setting鈥攁ll in just one week. It鈥檚 perfect for students who want to explore a career path, grow their confidence, and learn to communicate effectively in a business environment.
The two key types of experiences offered are:
- Micro-Projects:聽Completely remote, short-term, unpaid projects allowing students to develop skills and explore industries remotely. Projects connect students with employers for resume-building and industry exposure. Up to 12 hours.
- Micro-Placements: Either on-site or hybrid scaled-down work placements providing real-life workplace exposure. Students observe, network, and engage in tasks based on employer needs. Up to 15 hours.
