The Steinberg Global Health Postdoctoral Fellowship program ended in August 2019. No additional competitions will be held.
We are forever grateful to Mr. Arnold Steinberg and Professor Emerita Blema Steinberg, who sadly passed away in 2015 and 2017, respectively, for their steadfast support of global health at 91社区. Their legacy will continue to motivate us as we work to position global health at 91社区 at the forefront internationally.
Established in 2015 by The Blema and Arnold Steinberg Family Foundation, for entering or current postdoctoral fellows at 91社区 who are pursuing research related to global health in low or middle income countries or among Indigenous populations in Canada. Steinberg Global Health Postdoctoral Fellowships support the most promising scholars in global health and assist them in establishing a research base early in their careers. The program aims to support a diverse group of fellows with varying specialties and geographic areas of interest. Awarded by the Faculty of Medicine upon recommendation of Global Health Programs, to one or more postdoctoral fellows on the basis of academic merit. Value: $25,000 with required match of at least $25,000 from supervisor faculty member. May be renewable once.
