Registration - Fall 2024
All new students accepted for the Fall 2024 term must confirm that they accept their offer of admission, and pay the confirmation deposit, if applicable, before they can register in their program of admission.
New and returning students must then register on Minerva for both the Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 terms by adding the registration confirmation course REGN RCGR for both the Fall 2024 (CRN 155) and the Winter 2025 (CRN 176) terms.
Take note of the registration periods listed below to avoid late registration fees.

New and returning students who have not registered by August 14, 2024 may still access to register late from August 15 to September 10. A late registration fee will apply.
All registered students (new and returning) may add/drop courses until for each term.
Returning students in thesis programs who have a “time limitation†hold on their record will be blocked from registration for the 2024-2025 academic year but will be permitted to register with the support of the department when the thesis is ready to be submitted. Information regarding the Time Limitation Policy and procedures for readmission are available at Time Limitation​.
*NOTE 1: All students must register continuously in every term during their program, unless they request a leave of absence. Any student who does not register continuously will be withdrawn from the University as of their first unregistered term. To resume their studies, the student must then submit a request for readmission.
*NOTE 2: All new students must complete the mandatory online on , as stated in their admission letter. A reminder will be sent to new students who have not completed this tutorial at the end of October with a warning that a ‘hold’ will be placed on their record at the end of November. For new students with this ‘hold’, the hold will be expired automatically when the student completes the tutorial.
*NOTE 3: All new students must also complete the mandatory online sexual violence education program. Details available at It Takes All of Us.
Registration - Winter 2025
All new students accepted for the Winter 2025 term must accept their offer of admission before they can register in their program of admission.
All graduate students (new and returning) must register for the mandatory registration confirmation course REGN RCGR for the Winter 2025 term (CRN 176) via . This course must be added for each term of registration. To avoid late registration fees, new students must register within the registration period listed below:

New students and readmitted students who have not registered by January 6, 2025 may still access to register late from January 7, 2025 to January 14, 2025. They will be charged a late registration fee.

Registration - Summer 2024
Registration for new and returning graduate students opens on March 14, 2024 via for the Summer 2024 term.
New and returning students who plan to register for courses only or for thesis full-time status for the Summer 2024 term are advised to read these instructions carefully as it is the student’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of their record and to register within the deadlines.
The deadline to register for Summer 2024 is May 1, 2024.

Full-time status – if you want your summer term to count as a term of residence you must register for REGN STOR (CRN 911) – Confirm Summer Term of Residence in Minerva. Additional Session or Thesis Continuing status – if you are in the same program and not registering in full-time status – you will be automatically** registered in the Summer term by Enrolment Services in early March. To register for courses in Full-time, Additional Session or Thesis Continuing status:

**NOTES:
- Only students in thesis programs wishing to count their Summer 2024 term as a full-time term and advance their residency, should register for the REGN STOR course (full-time status fees will apply).
- Students in Additional Session or Thesis Continuing status should NOT register for the REGN STOR course.
- Students with registration holds will not be able to register until the hold has been cleared.
- Courses taken outside of a student’s program may be classified as “extra†and will not count in the GPA calculation. Students will be responsible for any tuition fees associated with an "extra" course.
