Career Planning Advice
During the summers after Med-1 and Med-2, we do encourage you to take some time off. Medical school is demanding, and you will do better when you are refreshed. If you wish to pursue something more formal during that time, in addition to research (discussed previously), the following are just a few examples of what you might consider:
- : pre-clinical and clinical international exchange program; watch for information in the Murmur and on your class listserv during the year.
- : paid rural summer jobs and internships.
