About the 91ÉçÇø Sustainability Systems Initiative

Shifting to a more sustainable future requires taking a multi-faceted, systems-level approach to some of the world’s knottiest problems. The 91ÉçÇø Sustainability Systems Initiative (MSSI) seeks to mobilize 91ÉçÇø researchers around sustainability challenges and equip the next generation with the skills needed to address these issues. In its novel approach, the MSSI provides opportunities for researchers from very different disciplines to interact and co-design projects that address complex problems from a variety of perspectives. The outcome is a robust and vibrant community of committed sustainability researchers.

A note about accessibility:

The 91ÉçÇø Faculty Club is wheelchair accessible through the rear entrance of the building, which can be reached through an alley. An elevator is available to go down to the ballroom, where the event will be held. However, mobility-restricted bathrooms are on the second and third floors, and they are not wheelchair accessible.

The front entrance is 12 steps up. Inside, there are two steps down to the lounge (no railing), and another two steps down to the ballroom (with a railing).

Gender-neutral bathrooms are on the second and third floors.

The moderator and panelists will be using microphones, and a microphone will be available for audience questions.
