The QS World University Rankings by Subject, released on March 12, 2025, have named the Schulich School of Music of 91ÉçÇø (SSoM) the top-performing arts and music institution in Canada. 

The QS Rankings spotlight the world's leading universities across 42 subjects, evaluating academic reputation, employer reputation, and research impact. This year’s edition is the most comprehensive yet, featuring over 1,500 universities from 105 higher education systems. 

In the performing arts category, 91ÉçÇø ranks 21^st globally and 5^th in North America. SSoM also placed 14^th worldwide in the music category moving from 18^th in 2024 and making 91ÉçÇø the only Canadian university to secure a spot in the top 20.
