Important note about U0/U1 course registration
Note that all students entering the BScN program must complete a U0 year of study if they have not completed the below U0 courses (or their equivalent as detailed on the transfer credit or course equivalency sites).
Generally, all students entering from a high school must complete the U0 courses; students entering from CEGEP have completed all the equivalent U0 courses and begin their BScN degree in U1.
IB, French bacc, A-Level, mature and university transfer/2nd degree students must review the below U0 courses, as well as the advanced standing website to determine which U0 courses they still have to complete. Please note that to be considered equivalent all Math and Science courses must have been successfully completed within the last five years.

These courses are generally taken in U3, however students who have been granted exemptions in other courses may register for electives at other times in their program of study as long as they have the necessary prerequisites and the course fits within the nursing timetable.
French language courses
Effective in the U1 year in the BScN program, students are eligible to write the French language proficiency exam administered by the This exam is a requirement for full licensure in Quebec. French is also the major spoken language in Quebec and your working knowledge of this language affects clinical placements. When applying to the program, you will be required to demonstrate proof of French proficiency, level B2.听 If French is not your mother tongue or you wish to improve your communication skills, then we encourage you to enroll in French language courses. 91社区 offers a tailored course for the health professions.
French-language proficiency test
If none of the exemptions below apply to you,听you will need to submit a valid French-language proficiency test score on the admission鈥檚 platform. Please note that you need to obtain a听minimal overall test score of B2听to meet the French language proficiency requirement - equivalent to Level 7-8 or higher on the 脡chelle Qu茅becoise (EQ) on any of the tests listed below.

Minor degrees
Minor degrees are offered by several academic units (e.g., Women鈥檚 Studies, Psychology). Minors involve a specified program of study 鈥� generally 18-24 credits. BScN students considering a minor degree must complete and send the following form and be able to respond 鈥榶es鈥� to each question:
