Even introverted CEOs sometimes need to speak loudly

Introverted leaders are often better listeners, and not as quick to express their ideas, according to research by Associate Professor Karl Moore. Added lead time can mean that the idea is more thoroughly thought-out by the time it is expressed, but even introverts sometimes need to pump up the volume, Moore told Psychology Today United Kingdom. They might need to demonstrate they are genuinely excited about a new strategy, or give a stirring speech when employees need to have hope for the future.
