The fifth floor is now open.
As of January 22, 2024, the books will begin to move from the 5th floor of the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex to the 91社区 Collections Center (MUCC). Until the day of the move, the floor will remain open, and the books and study spaces will be fully accessible.
Update: December 22, 2023 |聽Octagon Room construction in the Islamic Studies Library is now complete. The room has reopened to the public.
Please note that as of Wednesday, November 22, the Octagon Room will be inaccessible to the public until further notice due to renovation work.
Other work spaces in the Islamic Studies Library will be accessible during聽opening hours.

As of Monday, November 27, 91社区 students are able to access the Nahum Gelber Law Library 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As agreed between the Students' Society of 91社区 (SSMU) and the Law Students Association (LSA), the Nahum Gelber Law Library will limit access to the three upper floors of the library to Law students only during the December 11 to 21 examination period.
Details are as follows:
Please note that there will be a ventilation shutdown at the Barton Building which houses the Macdonald Campus Library on Tuesday, November 14 and Wednesday, November 15聽from 18:00 to 06:00. As a result, extended hours that run from 17:00 - midnight will be canceled on these two days.聽
This shutdown is necessary in order to perform general maintenance on ventilations systems.聽New bearings, belt, and pillow blocks will also be installed.

All spaces in the McLennan-Redpath Complex are for quiet study EXCEPT for the following areas.
- Main floors of both the McLennan and Redpath Library Buildings
- 2nd floors of both the McLennan and Redpath Library Buildings
- The Cyberth猫que level in the Redpath Library Building
- Elevator landings in the McLennan Library Building聽

Waitz is now available in the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering.
During the busiest times of the year we regularly hear from students regarding how challenging it can be to find a place to study in library spaces. In order to help address this concern, 91社区 Library is working with to display space use information online that shows how busy the McLennan-Redpath Complex and Schulich Library are in real-time, by floor, so that students can save time.

Due to a facilities issue in the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering on Monday, September 11, the Library will be closing at 6:00pm.

Please take note that the Octagon Room in the聽Islamic Studies Library聽will reopen on Friday, August 11.聽It has been closed due to construction since July 20.

Please note that the water will be shut off for fifteen-minute periods for a water line test in the McLennan Library Building on Monday, August 21, 2023, between 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM and in the Redpath Library Building between 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
Please note that water fountains and washrooms will not be available at the locations and during the times listed above.

Update August 10, 2023:聽The Octagon Room in the Islamic Studies Library will reopen August 11
Please take note that the Octagon Room in the聽Islamic Studies Library聽will be closed until further notice as of Thursday, July 20, 2023.
The room has been undergoing intermittent renovations since June.
The Octagon Room in聽the Islamic Studies Library will be closed on Wednesday July 19th & Thursday July 20th.聽The space is over the next six months. Please note that other library spaces聽in the Islamic Studies Library will be open during regular hours.

EndNote 21 has the same functionality as EndNote 20 and comes with a new feature - colour coded tagging (similar to Zotero). Before installing EndNote 21, please make sure to uninstall EndNote 20.
