Choosing a supervisor/research lab

As per the department policy, incoming students are not committed to any supervisor before they arrive in the department.

You are thus asked to meet with all the professors you may be interested in working with, as well as the ones requesting to see you, before making your decision. You will receive a list upon your arrival and will be required to arrange with each professor to schedule a meeting. This is a great opportunity for you to get to know about the breath of the research going on in the department, to hear about the various research and training programs available and the opportunities of co-supervision.听 You will also have the chance to meet with current graduate students.
