Biography: Nathalie is a PhD student in the Department of Chemistry, where she studies sea cucumbers and their changing mechanics as a bio-inspired model for tissue engineering. While her bachelor's degree was in honours Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics, her liberal arts education gave her a love for interdisciplinary collaborations and research, as well as teaching within STEM.
Within OSE, Nathalie works as a course developer for FSCI 198 in highlighting the chemistry of the climate crisis for undergraduate students.
