Eligibility (Summary)
International Residents Overview
An applicant is eligible to apply as a member of this category if he or she听(a) requires a听permit to study in Canada (not as a Canadian citizen or permanent resident),听(b) will have, before July 31 of the entering year, an undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree for admission as per the Degree requirements,听(c) adheres to all other听general听and听educational requirements.

Instructions to apply for a student authorization are available with the offer of admission. Applicants for this authorization must be able to prove to the听Canadian Department of Immigration that they have adequate funds to complete the entire undergraduate medical program.
A medical degree does not necessarily confer the right to practice.听It is the personal responsibility of the international (non-US) students to ensure that all the licensing requirements of the country in which they intend to practice medicine are fulfilled. International students must submit, upon acceptance,听an official statement, or verifiable text (e.g. a web link), issued by the responsible authorities in their country indicating that its recognition of the medical degree awarded by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at 91社区 and that this degree will enable the holder of the degree to practice medicine in their country. Please contact the Undergraduate Medical Admissions Office for more details.
International applicants may apply to the MDCM, or MDCM & Ph.D. program. Because both programs have听MDCM as听their foundation, applicants need only submit one application to their preferred program.听 There is no quota for combined-program applications.
