Exemption from the out of province or international supplement tuition fees is possible for students in the following three categories, as authorized by the Minist猫re de l'脡ducation et de l'Enseignement sup茅rieur (MEES). Note that this information may be subject to change.

Out-of-province Tuition Supplement Exemptions
Non-Quebec Canadian students in the following categories are exempted from out-of-province tuition supplements:
- Students in a PhD program.
- Students in a Post-Graduate Medical Education program: Medical Residents, Clinical Fellows, Clinical Research Fellows, Research Fellows.
- Students registered full-time in the Masters in French (Ma卯trise en fran莽ais). The exemption begins at the moment the student registers in the program, without retroactive effect.

Special Students registered in courses required by Quebec Professional Orders
This fee exemption is applicable to International and Canadian (non-QC) Special Students taking courses to satisfy requirements to be part of a Quebec professional order.
To be exempt from the out-of-province or international tuition supplements, students must:
- Be attending 91社区 as an international student or Canadian out of province student.
- Be enrolled as a non-degree Special Student in any term. For more details on Special Student admission requirements, refer to the following pages:

- Law Admission Requirements for special students
- Continuing Studies Requirements for special students
- Summer Studies Requirements for special students
- Be referred by a professional order or body governing one of the regulated professions in Quebec. The order will provide a letter detailing the required training for certification to practice and become a member of the professional order.
- Submit this letter at the time of admission as part of your application.
There is no other action required from the student for this exemption to be reflected in the fee account. The university will apply the credit automatically based on the criteria noted above. Note that if you initially benefit from this exemption and your registration status changes later, resulting in ineligibility, you will be billed the international or Canadian fee supplement at that time.
